Chateau Bonnet Blanc Entre Deux Mers

In the 16th century, Château Bonnet’s vineyards in Grézillac, near Bordeaux, france were planted by the de Reynier family, rich merchants from Libourne. These dynamic négociants acquired the “maison noble de Bonnet” circa 1560 and consolidated the vineyards around the manor house. In order to do so, they exchanged numerous plots and bought others that were covered with trees. Attractive pale yellow color with green highlights. Good concentration with hints of white flowers.

Château Bonnet White shows its personality once again with intense aromas of grapefruit, boxwood, and acacia flowers. The attack, fresh and lemony, is in perfect balance with the rich fully body that is well-structured and has a long finish. The aromatic persistence is remarkable, and the notes of citrus fruits and yellow peaches linger on the palate. This wine, already delicious, is a perfect match with fish tartars, shellfish and summer salads.
