Argyle Brut Sparkling Wine

Argyle has been specializing in methode champenoise sparkling wine since 1987, with the ratio of pinot noir to chardonnay varying with each vintage. The grapes for its sparkling wines primarily come from a high-elevation vineyard in the Dundee Hills of Oregon’s Willamette Valley.
“The 2007 Brut displays a bouquet of brioche, pear, apple, and white peach. Crisp, balanced, and lengthy, this outstanding value is meant for drinking over the next several years.

Argyle Brut is always vintage-dated to capture what sparkles each year in the cool climate of Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Cool fall seasons help give Argyle’s Sparkling wines a lift of freshness. September’s drying, east wind forecast and put a security of water onto the vines to help them ride out the drying, late season heat with a maximum of ripening—which is the name of the game here in the Willamette Valley. The resulting wines are gorgeous, perky, and sexy.
